& information
Welcome
Below you will find information on what to expect from a family photo session with me. If you have any additional questions after reviewing this page, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!

“Very natural and engaging, we had a lot of fun as a family”

To reserve your session
To reserve the time and date for your session, you’ll fill out some short paperwork and pay the Session Fee of $800. This is all online in my convenient client portal. The system will walk you through the whole thing, so it really couldn’t be easier! The Session Fee covers my preparations for your session, the session itself, film processing, editing, and the resulting digital images with print release. I does not include physical products, but you’ll have the opportunity to select any artwork you’d like through my online gallery store.
Loved our session
What to expect
First, take a breath and relax! I like to make my sessions light, fun, and natural. Expect minimal posing, but some prompting and guidance to achieve those authentic reactions and connections. My family sessions feature love, connection, laughter, and play!
01
Before your session
I try to do my absolute best to make sure all my families feel fully prepared going into their photo session. Right after you book a session with me, I’ll send you a questionnaire in your client portal that helps me get to know everyone better. I also send a link to my prep guide and some helpful blog posts in case you get stuck.
A few days before your scheduled session, I’ll check in to be sure we’re still good to go and answer any last questions you might have.
02
The session itself
The session itself should be fun for everyone! Please do let me know if there is a specific shot you are looking for. I may not be able to accommodate every request, but I can certainly try! But overall, I aim to capture a good variety of images to choose from.
03
After your session
After your session, you can sit back and relax while I prepare your images. I’ll send your film off to my professional lab for processing and scanning. I like to send out a video walkthrough of my gallery site as well as a guide to all the products I offer at that time. You can look through those whenever you’d like, but many clients like to have an idea of what artwork is available ahead of time.
Within a few weeks of your session, your gallery will be ready! I will send you a link to your fully edited images (usually around 70 for a full session) for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to download any and all high resolution images whenever you have the chance. You’ll also be able to peruse my online gallery store at that point. Your gallery will be available for 90 days so you’re able to take your time!
My sessions typically take 2-3 hours, but I do stay flexible in case we need to take a break for any reason.
I like to schedule my sessions in and/or around your home at whatever time of day works best for you.
If you have a particular date or holiday by which you need prints or gifts (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Hanukkah, Christmas, etc.) be sure to book a date at least two months in advance of that date to ensure significant processing and printing time.

What if we have a wardrobe malfuction or a child meltdown?
First, don’t worry! I always make sure to allow time for breaks, so we definitely have time to deal with anything unexpected that may arise.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
I like to hold my sessions in your home, but I absolutely can and will reschedule sessions for inclement weather if need be.
A final reminder!
I don’t ever want you to feel lost or confused during any of this, so if you ever do, just give me a call, send me an email or a text, whatever! I’m here to help!
